Conference Presentation on Image
Testimonial:
We asked Sandy to speak to a group of 80 litigation
lawyers at the end of a full training day, the theme of which was
presentation and interviewing skills. Her topic was personal impact;
“What is image? Why does it matter?”
We wanted a talk that gave us a lift and to dynamically bridge the
time between the end of the formal training elements and an evening
dinner. We certainly got it!
Sandy was both entertaining in terms of her delivery
and content and also educational. Her subject of dress and personal
presentation was delivered in a controversial manner in order to initiate
debate, which meant that the subject was discussed throughout dinner

Presentation

Sandy Ruddock spoke at a farming conference (Pasture To Profit) in
January 2005.
Although the delegates at this conference would have been drawn from
a very progressive section of the farming community, it was nevertheless
unusual for someone dealing with Sandy’s areas of expertise
to be invited to speak.
It is a fine reflection on Sandy’s perception, capability and
presentation skills that her talk was so well received. The number
of questions and the level of interest shown in feedback both during
and after the conference took many delegates and organisers by surprise.
Most of the delegates would be involved in small discussion groups

I first met Sandy when she spoke at a dinner presentation at a London
investment management house, where she spoke on the subject of Image.
Whilst I may have imagined that a presentation on image would be very
light weight, and Sandy's presentation was certainly engaging, it
was also well researched and thought provoking, and she made some
